崎の湯露天風呂

Shirahama Onsen is one of the three most famous onsen in Japan. Okasan and Mineka discovered 崎の湯 last spring and insisted I pay my homage to this open-air onsen by the sea. And it has my respect I would say. You walk through the noren and you're in the open, just you and the sea and the sky and of course, the hot spring. The waves lap against the rocks with the songs of the sea, and your head just above the onsen surface, suddenly, you're away from the world, enlosed by concentrics of turmoil and calmness, your soul comes alive in the stillness of the heat of the onsen, the voices of the waves and the clouds swim above you.
