Good Bye Phuket

The flight was 9:45am and we reached airport at 8:30am just to find out the flight was delayed at Manila. It was rescheduled to 12:15pm. We could have enjoyed a slow breakfast and a morning dip. Three hours at the airport with three kids! But we did it! Thanks be to God for a wonderful trip, our second to Phuket. The first was in December 2008.

Mango Sticky Rice and Tired Feet

After dinner at Sabai Sabai with Glenn's family, we went hunting for mango sticky rice. We were told it could be found near Paradise Hotel. We walked for a good 30 minutes looking for it, almost given up, wth 5 kids in tow. Finally, we found a stall near Seven Eleven next to Paradise Hotel. Relieved, we bought 4 packets, 50 bahts each. The lady handled every piece of mango with TLC and with other customers ahead of us, we waited for another 15 minutes. Too tired to walk back to our hotel, we took a tuk-tuk and the kids were thrilled. It was 10.22pm by the time we reached and that ended our day one adventure.
