Ice-cream Frenzy (home-made)

We took a stroll to ICE-CREAM FRENZY. Mineka had black sesame waffle ($5.50), Yoshiki had cookies & cream, Yukie had strawberry ($5.50) and I took rum and raisin brownie ($5.50).

子育ては十人十色ですね。
ここシンガポールで生活していると特に強く感じます。
人種によって、大切にしていることが違うんです。かなり！
育て方も違います。（日本人同士でもきっとそうだろうけれど）
でも、人種を超え子どもたちは友達になります。
そして、また私も子どもたちを通して出会いが広がる。
今、共に子育てができる喜び。つながり。
すばらしい。素敵なこと。感謝でいっぱいです。

Embassy of Japan in Singapore.

We went to Embassy of Japan in Singapore in the morning to make Yoshito's passport, then to Ikea and Anchor Point to get the mango cake for the evening poolside party for Haruki. We celebrated for him a day before his actual day.

Ten fish kicked the bucket

Ten little fish in the bucket
Happily swimming and eating nuggets
He counted and recounted
One two three... one two three...
and got frustrated
They swim and swam and swum
and feel fully contented

Ten little fish he caught yesterday

This morning
The ten little fish were still in the bucket
He counted and without having them recounted
one two three
four five six
seven eight nine ten
using all his fingers in both his hands

They were obedient and kept very still
They made him think that they must be ill
He shook the bucket but the ripples did not wake them up
For they seemed to be sleeping like human
with their bellies facing up

He cried a river
For the ten little fish in the bucket

They kicked the bucket
